Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, warehouse, distribution, or related operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make real-time decisions under time pressure.
• Comfortable coordinating with 3PL providers and drivers.
• Familiarity with reviewing logistics metrics and dashboards.
• Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends/holidays as needed.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially audits.

The Logistics team member is responsible for helping drive a smooth, on-time handover from FFM to last mile each morning. This role starts the shift by reviewing prior-day logistics performance, monitoring real-time FFM capacity to proactively adjust driver pickup schedules, and ensuring every route is picked up, loaded, and dispatched on time. The Logistics team also resolves driver and route issues as they arise and coordinates closely with 3PL partners to guarantee full route coverage.

Daily Metrics Review & Pickup Planning

• Start each shift by reviewing the previous day's logistics metrics, including FFM-to-last-mile handover timeliness and overall delivery delays (deliveries that exceeded the promised window).
• Review the supervisor count from the final hour of FFM operations to assess FFM capacity and anticipate its impact on last-mile handover.
• When FFM is behind schedule, adjust and push driver pickup times to account for the delay.
• When FFM is on track, review yesterday's delivery performance and fine-tune today's driver pickup times to help meet the delivery window.

Logistics Service & Order Checks

• Check the Logistics Service to confirm all orders have been assigned.
• Review for any orders with integration errors and resolve or escalate as needed.

Handover & Dispatch Execution

• Complete the daily audit checklist to confirm handover readiness across all routes.
• Confirm all routes are ready for handover and have been picked up.
• Oversee cart-to-truck and pallet-to-truck loading.
• Track middle-mile truck arrivals to ensure on-time dispatch.
• Help ensure the end-to-end handover process runs smoothly and on time from FFM to last mile.
• Troubleshoot driver issues in real time, including scanning problems, missing or damaged bags, and replacing damaged product.
• Identify and resolve route coverage gaps as they come up.

3PL Coordination

• Define pickup schedules for 3PL partners based on route distance and mileage.
• Coordinate with 3PL's on pickup times and driver changes.
• Manage 3PL no-shows by ensuring the affected route is covered or picked up by the 3PL.
• 1+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, distribution, or a related operations role.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make real-time decisions under time pressure.
• Comfortable coordinating directly with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and drivers.
• Familiarity with reviewing logistics/delivery metrics and dashboards.
• Ability to work an early morning shift, including weekends/holidays as needed based on operational demand.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly around checklist-driven audits.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in varying temperature environments, including cold storage/refrigerated areas.
• Ability to move quickly and safely between the loading dock, warehouse floor, and office areas.
