Job summary

Aztalan Bio LLC is seeking a Logistics Team Lead to oversee inbound/outbound logistics for corn and by-products, coordinate rail shipments, and supervise Material Handlers. You’ll ensure accurate inventories and safety across operations while partnering with leadership on continuous improvements.

This full-time role offers a 12-hour rotating schedule (4:45 AM - 5:00 PM), strong benefits, and a pathway to advance within a growing facility.

Qualifications

2-3 years shipping/receiving in an industrial environment or grain elevator preferred.
Experience operating front-end loaders, forklift trucks, man lifts, and related equipment.
Experience leading teams is preferred.
Valid driver's license with clean record.
Basic math skills required.
Experience with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

Schedule and supervise inbound and outbound logistics for corn, corn by-products, and rail shipments.
Lead, train, and mentor Material Handlers.
Unload corn from trucks and load corn by-products into trucks, containers, and railcars.
Coordinate loading/unloading, movement, and staging of railcars to support shipping/receiving.
Monitor inventories and ensure safety and quality standards across operations.
Identify improvements and partner with leadership on solutions; maintain daily inventories and status reports.
