Job Summary
Supports material management functions at designated work sites to meet our customer’s project needs. Acts as a single‑point-of-contact providing material planning, coordination and tracking including receiving, visual inspection and overall material project coordination between internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Provides material planning, coordination, and tracking for multiple concurrent projects.
- Supports material management functions at designated work sites to meet customer’s project needs.
- Acts as a single point of contact providing material planning, coordination and tracking including receiving, visual inspection and overall material project coordination.
- Coordinates and communicates with internal and external stakeholders project material schedules and status including delivery, receipt and non‑conformance.
- Coordinates and reports value added services and special programs for strategic business relationship customers.
- Stays current with company, state and federal regulations.
- Maintains a clean and safe driving record.
- Adheres to all safety protocols and training requirements.
Non-essential Functions
- Assists with documenting Total Customer Cost Management (TCCM) savings scorecards for the services performed.
- Assists with logistics coordination and delivery communications with BSE warehouse, drivers, contractors and customer.
- Assists with quality assurance and on time delivery processes.
- Assists with process development and documentation of BSE’s value‑added services.
Qualifications
- 4‑year business, industrial distribution or related degree or the equivalent in work experience.
- Two years of prior customer service or other related work experience with knowledge of business processes and procedures.
- Strong working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint).

- Ability to effectively plan, prioritize and organize.
- Excellent customer service skills include being competent, accurate, responsive and engaged.
