Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Logistics Support professional to coordinate movement and deployment of parts to meet program objectives at our Chandler, AZ site. You will interact with program teams to assemble required equipment for field deployment and assess how configuration changes affect logistics deployment.

Applicants should be capable of analyzing information to generate viable solutions while adhering to SOWs and contract deliverables.

Qualifications

• Coordinate movement, transport, tracking and deployment of parts/equipment for program objectives.
• Navigate internal/external processes to meet goals and deliverables.
• Analyze information to evaluate solutions to problems and data.
• Follow Statements of Work and contract deliverables with stakeholders.
• Prepare sensitive equipment for safe transport across multiple modes.

Job Description:

Coordinates movement, transportation, tracking, maintenance, and deployment of parts and equipment to ensure Program objectives are met in a timely manner. Navigates various internal and external processes to ensure goals are achieved. Works with Program team to help develop a list of required equipment and material needed for deployment to field for launch execution. Examine the impact of configuration changes on logistics deployment. Gathers and analyzes information to generate and evaluate potential solutions to problems, issues and challenges while weighing the accuracy and relevance of the facts, data and information. Abide by specific objectives of Statements of Work (SOWs) and contract deliverables. Works closely with various stakeholders to ensure program objectives are met in a timely manner.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and 6 years of additional education and/or related experience
• Ability to move, transport, or lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the day
• US citizen with the ability to obtain US Government clearance within 6 months of hire
• Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of logistics experience
• Strong MSFT Excel/database skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Forklift operation experience
• HazMat shipment experience/certification
• Familiar with government property requirements and various government forms
• Currently resides in State of AZ

Primary Level Salary Range: $52,700.00 - $87,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses
