Are you ready to use your leadership and skills in a Logistics Supervisor position? This is your opportunity! The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing logistics operations to support various programs. This role involves coordinating resources to execute contracts efficiently, maintaining logistics support functions, and ensuring timely depot support. The Logistics Supervisor will also play a key role in interfacing with customers, addressing their logistics requests, and developing comprehensive training programs and materials. This position demands strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution of contracts and depot support activities.
• Allocate and optimize resources required to fulfill contract requirements and support logistics operations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding logistics and depot support, addressing and resolving their requests and concerns.
• Maintain responsibility for the logistics support function, including inventory management, transportation, and supply chain coordination.
• Develop and execute comprehensive customer training programs and materials related to logistics operations and support.
• Supervise and mentor logistics staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Monitor logistics performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Ensure all logistics operations comply with industry regulations, company policies, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor and control logistics costs, striving for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics operations.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related area.
• Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 9 years of related experience is required.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• Proven experience in managing logistics operations and supervising a team.
• Relevant experience working with logistics/warehouse environment and warehouse management systems.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes, inventory management, and supply chain coordination.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel as required to support logistics operations and customer needs, often overseas.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Certification in logistics or supply chain management [e.g., APICS Supply Chain Professional Certification (CSCP), or Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)].
• Experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
• Familiarity with operating military units, airborne signals intelligence (SIGINT) systems and aircraft sensor equipment.
• Prior experience with handling and managing hazardous/dangerous goods and materials.
• Understanding of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) regulations as they apply to the import and export of goods.
• Current Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and clean driving record.
• Understanding of third party shipping vendors and requirements.
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, or US Military.

Essential Functions:

• Oversee and manage all logistics operations, ensuring efficient and timely contract execution.
• Interface with customers, addressing logistics requests and providing support.
• Develop and execute customer training programs and materials.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
• Requires working majority of hours on a computer.
• Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
• Travel may be required to support logistics operations and customer needs.
