DCS is searching for a performance‑driven Logistics Specialist to support US Army programs. A focus on either financial, logistics, engineering, technical support and/or management of advanced networks for military vehicles and equipment is required. This position will be supporting multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Implement material flow management systems to meet customer requirements.
• Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, training or safety records.
• Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
• Monitor product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
• Implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
• Supervise the work of logistics specialists, planners, or schedulers.
• Train shipping department personnel in roles or responsibilities regarding global logistics strategies.
• Coordinate comprehensive logistical or reverse logistic functions for product life cycles, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, recycling, reuse, or final disposal of resources.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• BA/BS from an accredited college or university in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related degree with 5 years of experience in Integrated Logistics Support and System Life Cycle Support within the DOD environment.
• 1 academic year at an accredited college or university in an accredited preferred degree related post‑secondary program for 1 year of experience. 5 additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
• Ability to obtain a secret clearance as needed.
