Job summary

SNC is seeking a Logistics Specialist II to coordinate and manage logistics activities across materials such as spares, tools, and equipment. You will oversee preparation, documentation, routing, and compliance, with a focus on maintaining accurate records and optimizing processes.

Qualified candidates have 1+ years in logistics, strong regulatory knowledge, and basic Word/Excel skills. Hybrid work environment and cross-functional collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• In-depth knowledge of state, federal, and global regulations related to logistics.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Basic understanding of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques.
• Experience with inventory databases.

Your expertise will be critical in optimizing logistics processes and maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in logistics software and tools.
• Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems
• HazMat Training/Certification.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Experience with shipping databases, such as FedEx, DHL, UPS.
• Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record.
• Understanding of shelf life.
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military.

Essential Functions

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
• Ability to work on your feet for a majority of the work shift.
• Ability to work in a loud environment.
• Ability to travel as needed.
• Ability to work in an office or hybrid environment.
