The primary role of the Logistics Specialist (LS), (CMV), involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and/or customer delivery, including staging products at customer locations. The LS maintains safe driving practices, delivers excellent customer service, and builds strong customer relationships while representing TireHub professionally.

Starting wage of $17.65/hr., with increases after 90 days, 180 days, and 1 year.

Schedule: Monday through Saturday, fluctuating day shifts.

This position reports to an Assistant TLC Leader.

Role Specifics:

  • Tasks include general warehousing, delivery service, and vehicle maintenance. Adjustments may be made based on business needs.
  • Load, unload, inspect, and tally tires on transport vehicles.
  • Follow safety standards in packing, labeling, and storing products.
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks safely.
  • Participate in inventory counts and labeling.
  • Handle cash transactions for COD deliveries.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct pre/post-trip inspections.
  • Complete maintenance logs and ensure compliance with policies and FMCSA regulations.
  • Engage in ongoing training and development.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of general work experience
  • Valid driver’s license for at least 3 years
  • Must obtain and maintain a CMV Medical Examiner Certificate (Medical Card) for vehicles over 10,001 lbs.
  • Must be 21 or older

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly
  • Physical ability to bend, pull, push, and move tires
  • Multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with computer and navigation systems
  • Maintain forklift certification and valid driver’s license

Working Conditions:

  • Physical exertion required, including lifting and standing for long periods
  • Potential handling of hazardous materials and use of protective equipment
  • Work in various settings, including warehouses and customer sites
  • Extended hours, including nights, weekends, and short notice may be required
