Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support a national development and integration program. You will oversee planning, control, and optimization of hardware and software logistics, including international shipments and lifecycle sustainment, across CONUS and OCONUS locations.

The role requires a strong background in logistics management, export laws, and storage/ distribution within warehouses, plus a US citizenship and active DoD Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics management or any bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience (or 6+ with master’s, or 15 years without degree).
• Experience optimizing the flow of resources through the supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of international export and transportation laws.
• Experience with shipping methods both on land and sea.
• Experience with logistics support for personnel in remote, unmanned locations.
• Experience with maintaining records for end of service, end of warranty, end of maintenance.
• Experience with storage, handling, and distribution of equipment within a warehouse facility.
• Experience with contracting for shipments and delivery to remote locations.
• Must be a US Citizen and have an Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory audits at CONUS and OCONUS sites as required.

• Be the primary interface with manufacturing and warehouse facilities for the storage, accountability, and shipment of equipment to various locations.
• Assist with the development and execution of our Lifecycle Sustainment Plan for the multiple systems.
• Generate documentation and training.

We are hiring logistics specialists to support a large, complex, nationally significant development and integration program. As the prime contractor, Leidos will drive performance optimization in achieving mission outcomes through efficient design, build, fielding and transition-to-operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for providing logistics expertise and support to a program that is developing and designing a network infrastructure and data transport in an OCONUS location. You will be working with a team of multi-disciplined engineers, cyber security engineers and officers, quality engineers, and architects that are performing systems requirements analysis, integration, system testing, and quality assurance to support the successful delivery of the TACMOR network services. In the role you will:

• Be responsible for planning, controlling, and optimizing our hardware and software, planning and managing the tracking and control of all our equipment

• Perform inventory audits at CONUS and OCONUS sites as required
• Be responsible for logistics and transportation planning and execution for international shipment of goods to locations that require knowledge of international export control laws
• Be the primary interface with manufacturing and warehouse facilities for the storage, accountability, and shipment of equipment to various locations
• Assist with the development and execution of our Lifecycle Sustainment Plan for the multiple systems we are developing and maintaining until transition to operations
• Generate documentation and training

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics management or any bachelor’s degree of art or science and 8 or more years of prior relevant experience, or masters degree with 6 or more years of experience or 15 years of experience without a degree.
• Implementing and managing systems to optimize the flow of resources through the supply chain.
• A strong working knowledge of international export and transportation laws.
• Experience with shipping methods both on land and sea.
• Experience with logistics support for personnel in remote, unmanned locations.
• Experience with maintaining records for end of service, end of warranty, end of maintenance.
• Experience with the storage, handling, and distribution of equipment within a warehouse facility.
• Experience with controlling the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials to support production and operations at both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
• Experience with contracting for shipments and delivery to remote locations.
• Must be a US Citizen and have an Active DoD Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with AF logistics processes and policies
• Prior experience as an AF logistician
• Master’s Degree in Logistics Management.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $82,550.00 - $149,225.00
