Job summary

Gotion Inc. in Manteno, IL, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate inbound and outbound transportation, warehousing, and material handling at our manufacturing site.

You will help develop strategies to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and ensure timely delivery. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in logistics or a related field, 2–4 years of manufacturing logistics experience, strong data analysis skills, and bilingual Mandarin/English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in manufacturing.
• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English preferred for international communication.

What You’ll Do:

• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics operations, including transportation, material handling, and warehousing activities.
• Assist in developing and implementing logistics strategies aimed at cost reduction, improved efficiency, and timely delivery.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure accurate stock control, reduce carrying costs, and maintain material availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production and material flow throughout the plant.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics partners to negotiate rates, manage contracts, and resolve any logistical challenges.
• Analyze logistics data to identify areas for process improvement and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (equivalent experience will also be considered).
• Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English (verbal and written) is preferred due to international communication.
• 2-4 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of logistics processes, including transportation, inventory management, and warehousing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with logistics software or ERP systems (experience with SAP is a plus).

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $80k –$100k negotiable, plus eligibility for bonus and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by factors such as the role, level, and geographic location. Actual compensation within the range will be influenced by the specific work location, along with factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. The base pay range for this role is shown below, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experiences, and location.
