Job summary

NorthStar Medical Radioisotopes is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to coordinate shipping, receiving, and inventory across production sites. You will ensure accurate ERP data, support cycle counting, and manage materials flow for both domestic and international shipments.

The role requires 2+ years in logistics within a regulated manufacturing setting, with DOT and hazardous materials training completed. Safety compliance and continuous improvement are key focus areas.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two years in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics or supply chain.
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must complete required hazardous materials and DOT training.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, inventory, and material movement to support production schedules.
  • Oversee domestic and international shipments; prepare shipping docs and coordinate with carriers.
  • Enter transactions into the ERP system and maintain inventory accuracy via cycle counts.
  • Coordinate picking, packing, labeling, staging, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
  • Assist receiving operations, inspections, and movement between facilities.
  • Train staff on logistics procedures, equipment operation, safety, and SOPs.
  • Enforce safety, ensure OSHA/DOT/GMP compliance and company policies.
  • Resolve shipping discrepancies and logistics-related issues; support continuous improvement.

  • Coordinate shipping, receiving, inventory, and material movement activities to support production schedules and customer requirements.
  • Oversee and process domestic and international shipments, including preparation of shipping documentation and coordination with carriers and freight providers.
  • Enter inventory transactions, receipts, and shipment data into the ERP system and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and inventory audits.
  • Coordinate the picking, packing, labeling, staging, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
  • Support receiving operations, including material inspections, inventory verification, and movement of materials between facilities and warehouse locations.
  • Train employees on logistics procedures, equipment operation, safety requirements, and standard operating procedures.
  • Enforce safety requirements and ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, DOT, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with resolving shipping discrepancies, inventory issues, and logistics-related operational challenges.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve logistics performance, inventory control, and operational efficiency.
  • Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, as authorized and certified.

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics, or supply chain operations. Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment preferred. Must successfully complete required hazardous materials and DOT training requirements.
