Job summary

Black Box is seeking a Shipping & Logistics Specialist to manage shipping routes and ensure on-time delivery with a focus on customer satisfaction. The role collaborates with procurement and Product Engineering to obtain required compliance documents and to communicate transport needs both internally and with customers.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in a related role, and experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.

• Manage all aspects of shipping routes and delivery, specifically with regard to customer satisfaction. Proactively anticipates and defuses potential customer and vendor problems related to freight, packaging and delivery.
• Communicate internally and externally regarding transportation requirements.
• Processes customer requests for industry compliance. Works with suppliers and Product Engineering to ensure that all necessary documents are received and customer requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Primarily Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of shipping routes and delivery, specifically with regard to customer satisfaction. Proactively anticipates and defuses potential customer and vendor problems related to freight, packaging and delivery.
