We’re a mid-sized, employee-owned company on a mission to create meaningful value for both our employees and our customers. That means we’re not just looking for someone to fill a seat — we’re looking for someone who wants to build, innovate, and evolve with us.

Our company primarily serves the Navy and other Department of Defense clients, offering a dynamic environment where your expertise will make a difference.

About the Role

AVIAN is seeking a Logistics Product Support Analyst to provide comprehensive logistics management and Integrated Product Support (IPS) expertise in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) Integrated Product Team (IPT). This position will play a key role in ensuring critical systems remain supportable, sustainable, and ready for the Fleet throughout the acquisition and system lifecycle.

The Logistics Product Support Analyst will plan, coordinate, and execute a variety of sustainment and product support activities, including Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs), Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) management, Configuration Maintenance Plans (CMPs), and Maintenance Plans (MPs). The analyst will also provide technical and analytical support for provisioning, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs), and other logistics products and documentation.

Working collaboratively with government, engineering, logistics, and program stakeholders, the analyst will help integrate supportability requirements across the program lifecycle to improve system availability, maintainability, readiness, and long-term Fleet sustainment. This position supports all 12 Integrated Product Support (IPS) elements, including product/program management, sustaining engineering, supply support, maintenance planning and management, Packaging, Handling, Storage and Transportation (PHS&T), technical data, support equipment, training and training support, manpower and personnel, facilities and infrastructure, computer resources, and design interface.

  • Analyze and execute modernization and logistics strategies affecting production, distribution, inventory management, and sustainment of finished products to optimize product flow, improve material availability, and enhance Fleet readiness and utilization.
  • Coordinate and support Integrated Logistics Assessments (ILAs) by managing assessment checklists, documentation trackers, logistics schedules, and required inputs to ensure readiness for key program lifecycle events and milestone reviews.
  • Develop, edit, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including technical manuals, procedures, work instructions, reports, plans, specifications, and other program deliverables in accordance with established government, DoD, and program-specific standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers, logisticians, program managers, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other technical personnel to research, gather, validate, and translate complex technical information into clear, accurate, and user-focused documentation.
  • Analyze technical and engineering source material to develop documentation that accurately communicates system capabilities, operational procedures, maintenance requirements, logistics processes, and product support requirements.
  • Coordinate and facilitate logistics meetings and working groups by gathering cross-functional inputs, developing executive-level briefs and presentation materials, documenting decisions and action items, and tracking follow-up activities to ensure timely resolution of logistics-related issues.
