Job summary

California Food Banks seeks a Logistics Manager to lead the Farm to Family program and the Procurement team, ensuring exceptional donor, grower, and food bank service. You will monitor partner performance, track metrics, and act as an escalation point to ensure timely, reliable deliveries to communities we serve.

This role requires coordinating ERP data, managing routes, coaching staff, and occasionally traveling up to 10% for conferences and food banks.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years logistics and operations experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; NetSuite preferred.
• Strong supervisory and direct-report management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task in high-volume, time-critical processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day F2F program and Procurement Team.
• Verify Meal Connect on FANO and place excess orders.
• Coordinate routing and compliance with the Route Schedule.
• Monitor monthly reports and analytics to meet metrics.
• Serve as escalation point to ensure timely, reliable deliveries to communities.
