Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• 0-3 years of logistics industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight movements to maximize service and cost performance.
• Build and validate daily load plans using EFMS, Topex, or TMS
• Ensure carrier receipt of daily load tenders via 204, fax, or TMS
• Coordinate appointment acquisition to meet customer delivery requirements
• Communicate with internal teams and external carriers to align directions and expectations
• Coordinate carrier pickup times and provide daily shipment plans to distribution centers
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to improve financial performance and service levels
• Identify compliance issues and contribute to remediation plans
• Oversee yard and shuttle service operations.
