Job summary

NewCold invites you to join a team shaping the future of food logistics. As a Planner you will oversee the process from delivery check-in to final trip closure, coordinating inbound and outbound dock activity to meet customer expectations and company standards.

You’ll split time between planning operations and transportation support, work with warehouse and carrier teams, use MLS, WMS, and TMS, and drive productivity, accuracy, and safety in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft applications.
• Experience in logistics, transportation, or warehouse planning preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Accurate data entry and record-keeping skills.
• Familiarity with WMS and TMS is a plus.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage inbound and outbound dock activity.
• Coordinate product flow from deliveries to final trips.
• Collaborate with warehouse, transportation, and carrier teams.
• Use MLS, WMS, and TMS to track haulers and shipments.
• Initiate and close outbound shipments with proper documentation.
• Document and archive shipment paperwork.
• Support loading/unloading and maintain accuracy of goods.
• Ensure compliance with temperature control and handling standards.
• Contribute to process improvements and maintain safety culture.
