You will support budgeting, data management, and cross-functional collaboration with operations and packaging teams. Required: a Bachelor’s degree, 5–7 years in logistics, business accounting familiarity, and strong Excel skills; fluent Spanish; Japanese a plus.

  • Intermediate Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create NA logistics plans for standard routes (overland and air).
  • Create plans for abnormal routes (expedited air and truck).
  • Maintain vendor management system focusing on QCD and bids.
  • Maintain vendor cost tables and KPIs.
  • Lead cost reduction and continuous improvement projects.
  • Plan and manage finished goods packaging with GPP and RM teams.
  • Support budgeting and reporting for NA Operations.
  • Coordinate and maintain policies and work instructions.

SEWS—El Paso Customer Service Center (Eastside)
Job Title Logistics Planner III

On behalf of SEWS (USA, Canada, and Mexico) BU, Div, and locations, plan North American freight import-export operations via standard (domestic overland and air freight), and abnormal (expedited air and truck) modes, with a focus on QCD, vendor management, cost, risk, and routing stability.Support manager and peers through proactive planning, communication, countermeasure creation and implementation, follow-up, and consistent continuous improvement activities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • On behalf of NA Operations, create logistics plans for current and mid-term standard (North America overland and air freight) mode routes, support implementation monitoring, countermeasures, and reporting of status.
  • On behalf of NA Operations, create logistics plans for current and mid-term abnormal (expedited air and truck) mode routes, support implementation, monitoring, countermeasures, and reporting of status.
  • On behalf of NA Operations, facilitate and maintain vendor management system, with a focus on QCD, a competitive bidding process, and internal policy, procedure, and compliance.
  • On behalf of NA Operations, facilitate and maintain vendor service rate and cost tables, vendor KPIs
  • On behalf of NA Operations, lead project based cost reduction and continuous improvement activities.
  • On behalf of NA Operations, plan and manage current and future finished goods packaging (both customer returnable and expendable), work closely with GPP and RM packaging planning members
  • Support NA Operations Manager (and connected sections and departments) with information and data management, budgeting, reporting activities.
  • Support NA Operations team functions as directed by the manager
  • Coordinate, author, and maintain policies, procedures, and work instructions for the section
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 to 7 years professional experience
  • Budgeting, business planning, or accounting related (academic or professional) experience
  • Business acumen, ease with business level math and accounting environment
  • Microsoft Office, including Excel, with intermediate level formulas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Logistics, freight, and/or import-export experience
  • Business level Spanish speaker (Required)
  • Preferred: Business level Japanese speaker (NOT required)
  • Project management role
