Job summary

The Exchange in Dallas, Texas seeks a logistics manager to evaluate and improve backhaul operations, oversee fleet assets, and ensure efficient cross-country movements. This role focuses on optimizing processes and driving cost-effective performance within a large-scale distribution network.

You will coordinate with AAFES terminals, perform accounting tasks, and manage documentation for equipment movement, purchases, and auctions, while supervising a small team.

Qualifications

• Three years of supply chain management experience.
• Bachelor's degree with one year of supply chain management experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares weekly and monthly backhaul statements and WAR reports from AAFES terminals worldwide.
• Maintains AAFES fleet fixed assets equipment worldwide including purchase orders, receiving new equipment, preparing paperwork (inspections, MVR, titles, license plates), handling paperwork for equipment moving from facility to facility, and equipment sold at auctions.
• Maintains TMS, Visual Power Suite, and Smartlink with CONUS terminals on backhaul loads to confirm or reject loads, late pickup or delivery loads.
• Performs general accounting procedures, accounts payable and receivable.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
