Job summary

UPS is seeking a dedicated logistics professional for a permanent on-site role in Florida. The position involves order processing, documentation, and coordination of global shipments within the clinical and cold-chain segments of UPS Healthcare Precision Logistics.

You will use Excel and Outlook daily, manage import paperwork, and master the Maestro system to update milestones and plans. Flexibility with shifts and forklift credentials are advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Microsoft Excel and MS Outlook is required.
  • Previous experience working with import documents and shipping procedures.
  • Ability to maintain "zero-error" accuracy while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with cold chain management or handling dry ice is a major plus.
  • Ability to be flexible with shift hours to meet the "Next Flight Out" demands.
  • Forklift certification is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Computer & Documentation: Utilize MS Outlook for constant communication with agents and Excel for tracking inventory and shipment data.
  • Import/Export Coordination: Prepare and review shipping papers and import documentation in accordance with global guidelines.
  • System Management: Learn and master our internal transportation system (Maestro) to update milestones, create flight plans, and enter data into the TMS.
  • Tracking & Manifesting: Ensure all recovered shipments are scanned upon arrival, checked against the manifest for weight/piece count, and "Post-flighted" to confirm departure.
  • Communication: Create pre-alerts for global agents and elevate any logistical concerns to senior leadership immediately.
  • Warehouse Support: Handle dry ice safely, replenish shipments based on temperature needs, and maintain an organized, clean workspace.
  • Compliance: Complete GxP documentation logs and ensure all labeling (weight, orientation, etc.) is 100% accurate.
