Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated is seeking a Logistics Operator I for our Youngstown area warehouse. Earn $26.35–$27.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday schedule from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

This full-time role involves picking and stacking cases, operating PIT equipment, and maintaining safety and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include building pallets, transporting with powered equipment, and supporting housekeeping and daily checks.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve and place quantities of cases onto pallets per Pick Ticket, safely and accurately.
  • Transport pallets to different areas using a Powered Industrial Truck safely.
  • Assist with warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping.
  • Perform daily PIT checklist and report issues.
  • Resolve errors reported by the Checker regarding product or quantity.
  • Support efficient operations in a dynamic warehouse.

Job Overview

Logistics Operator I is responsible for the fulfillment of Customer Orders. This role will travel throughout the warehouse to retrieve, and stack products and quantities per the Pick Ticket; via the Computer Screen assigned on a pre-determined conveyor and or pallet. Pick Area and build stable pallet(s) of product, meeting or exceeding Warehouse, Company expectations regarding safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Retrieve and place quantities of Cases of Product onto a pre-determined pallet as instructed by the assigned Pick Ticket, safely, building a stable pallet of product, while meeting or exceeding Warehouse, Company expectations in safety, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Travel to and transport pallets of stacked Products to different areas of the Warehouse via a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) - Pallet Jack - in a safe and efficient manner
  • Assist in Warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping as assigned or as needed
  • Perform daily PIT Checklist and alerts Warehouse Management of any issues discovered
  • Resolve errors discovered and reported by the Checker to product and, or quantity
  • Perform miscellaneous activities as directed to support the efficient operation of a warehouse in a dynamic environment
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while walking and repetitively lifting 30-75 lbs.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment
  • Ability to coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes
  • Easily transition between different work areas as needed throughout the workday, meeting minimum expectations within those areas
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions from the computer screen
  • Attention to detail and ability to differentiate our packages
  • Ability to work in a noisy and non-climate controlled including high and low-temperature environment
  • Intentional self-starter takes initiative and proactively seeks out value-add opportunities
  • Flexibility in Scheduling is required as work hours are subject to change based on business demands
Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification: Pallet Jack

Work Environment

Noisy and non-temperature-controlled environment including high and low-temperature environment
