is seeking a Manager Trainee in McDonough, GA to learn the management of a small driver count and non-traditional shifts, including nights and weekends, while ensuring safe, timely freight movement and superior customer service. Under supervision, you will train in DOT compliance, driver and company policy adherence, and coordinating with internal and external contacts to plan, route, monitor, and deliver freight and loads.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation/Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field OR High School Diploma/GED with 1 year of management/transportation/logistics experience.
• Willing to travel to account, customer, and company locations as applicable.
• Ability to work across multiple shifts including nights and weekends.
• Willingness to regionally relocate depending on account assignment.

Responsibilities

• Learn to build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and safe outside carriers for seamless carrier setup and productivity.
• Fill in for absent personnel and on special projects to optimize fleet operations and profitability.
• Learn to train drivers and staff on internal and customer systems and processes.
• Develop proficiency in KPI measurement, reporting, and advising on continuous improvement and cost control.
• Gain knowledge of managing inventory, assets, and driver assignment to balance equipment across markets.
• Perform administrative duties including payroll, budget management, pay issue resolution, and generating reports.
