Job summary

Apple's Data Center Operations team in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist who is highly organized and data-driven to support storage and staging operations within our hyperscale infrastructure.

You will partner with on-site teams to coordinate PIT equipment and fleet distribution, maintaining accuracy in inventory and records while handling day-to-day logistics in a fast-paced data center.

Qualifications

• Assoc. degree or equivalent experience in SCM/Operations/Business Admin
• Experience in warehousing, inventory control, logistics
• Must have valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs
• Certified on PIT or willing to certify

Description

As a Logistics Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for strategically supporting our storage and staging operations while maintaining an accuracy driven mindset. You will partner with other functional areas of the business that will require the frequent use of PIT equipment and Fleet distribution on campus.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associates degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration or General Studies with relevant course work or equivalent job related experience
• Experience in Warehousing, Inventory Control, Supply Chain, Logistics or Equivalent
• Valid DL
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Certified on PIT or willing to certify

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to drive Box Truck
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
