Global Freight and Transportation Operations Execution Specialist

What We Offer

Salary: $78,000.00 - $107,500.00

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Level Performance Management: Escalation Management, On Time Performance, Missing, Wrong, & Damage PPM
  • Cross Dock Management
  • MBR Participation, Carrier Management
  • New Volume Onboarding
  • Defining Global Processes — All established processes must be applicable across the globe
  • Communication cadence with shippers/suppliers/carriers within Applied; miscommunication leading to carrier failure is a process issue (our responsibility)
  • Manage carrier SOWs; uphold expectations from our carriers; collaborate with CBM team if an expectation is not met
  • Establishing clear & achievable SLAs/KPIs: review transit with carriers; review agreed transit time as per pricing schedule; work with CBMs on performance plans
  • Internal Promotions: create visuals/documents on carrier expectations; cover end-to-end process from EDI to Freight Payment; collaborate with Connectivity and Finance teams; connect with Buyers/Logistics Coordinators to align expectations from carriers; act as an escalation point
  • Carrier Management: manage operational risks (track closures, market conditions, contingency plans with carriers)
  • Driving Continuous Performance Improvements: drive consistency on performance; improve gross & net scores; identify areas for improvement; manage MBR Action Trackers
  • POC and Escalation Point for CrossDock: regular meetings with Material Project Managers and CrossDock service provider; support issues between CrossDock and transport service providers
  • New Program Launches (e.g., CrossDock): support SOP/SOW creations; establish expectations with service providers and CBM team; transition manager for carrier changes
Minimum Requirements: Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Relevant years of experience in Logistics and Transportation Operations

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable. For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus at 100% goal achievement.
