Pentair is hiring a Logistics Material Handler for our Apopka, FL site. You will manage shipping, receiving and material handling of inbound and outbound materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The role requires forklift experience (stand up reach), a high school diploma, and strong math/computer skills. Training offered with potential for pay increases after proficiency and training completion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 1 year warehouse experience.
• Forklift Stand up Reach Truck experience required (must be certified to Pentair standards before operating).
• Basic skills in mathematics and computers.
• Understanding of inventory transactions and movement through the system.
• Data entry experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow all documented safety rules and practices.
• Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Trucks) turret truck, reach trucks, stand-up counter balance , sit-down counter balance, cherry pickers, electric pallet jack to move material within warehouse areas.
• Read production tickets, customers order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins in accordance with PFEP (Plan For Every Part).
• Deliver materials on a set schedule at a fast pace to meet business needs.
• Train new team members on all jobs.
• Perform daily 5S activities.
• Overtime may be required.
• Perform any other duty or assignment as may be assigned by the group lead.
