Job summary

BMW Manufacturing Company invites qualified students to join our internship/co-op program in Spartanburg, SC. The intern will participate in material flow and lineside planning, supporting logistics initiatives across the plant, including launches and new logistics innovations.

Responsibilities include KPI reporting, part list checks, space planning, and deployment of Smart Transport Robots. Candidates must be enrolled in a US college, carry a GPA of 3.0+, and attach an unofficial transcript.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) required.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Programming knowledge preferred, beneficial for projects.

Responsibilities

• Support logistics planning initiatives across the plant.
• Assist with series changes and new vehicle launches.
• Support autonomous logistics vehicle pilots in the plant.
• Generate weekly/monthly KPI and status reports.
• Maintain lineside organization and part tracking.
• Assist with floor space planning for storage areas.
• Help create KPI tracking for performance and dashboards.
• Support fault resolution and workflow improvements.
