Job Summary

GoTo Foods (GTF) is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee our freight & redistribution program. This position is a key member of the Supply Chain team and is responsible for ensuring the smooth, reliable, and resilient flow of products from suppliers into the mainline distribution network. The role partners closely with Distribution and Procurement to manage daily logistics performance, monitor KPIs, and support programs that maintain continuity of supply across GTF’s network. The successful candidate brings structure, discipline, and clarity to logistics processes by developing, implementing, and managing efficient strategies that support supply continuity while maintaining cost‑effective operations. They will evaluate and select 3rd‑party providers to support GTF’s supply chain initiatives in logistics and redistribution. They will negotiate and manage contracts designed to support continuity of supply while providing financial benefits to GTF’s network of franchisees. This position will be responsible for maintaining a positive environment between GTF, the approved 3rd‑party Distribution partners and the approved 3rd‑party Logistics providers. The successful candidate must have the ability to quickly identify opportunities for improvement and present recommendations and implement solutions to internal and external stakeholders. Minimum travel may be required from time to time to support key initiatives or projects. This position will ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning transportation and logistics.

The role flexes between hands‑on execution and strategic program planning & management. The successful candidate will need to be equally comfortable in both environments. This highly visible position will need to collaborate with cross‑functional teams including but not limited to Procurement, QA, Brand Program Managers and Distribution to be successful.

Essential Functions
  • Evaluate and select 3rd‑party Logistics and Redistribution providers to support GTF’s supply chain initiatives.
  • Negotiate service‑oriented and financially beneficial contracts to meet key service level and financial KPI’s.
  • Monitor logistical operational performance and proactively address challenges to maintain consistency and reliability across the supply chain.
  • Effectively handle all dispute resolution.
  • Schedule and conduct business reviews to discuss contract compliance and performance improvement planning.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on logistics processes that move products from field to fork.
  • Provide periodical freight rates and market conditions trends to key stakeholders for budget planning and cost projections.
  • Support internal stakeholders to establish programs that will provide both service and cost advantages to GTF’s network.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to improve logistics, communication, and operational reliability.
  • Establish service level criteria and create scorecards to measure and hold accountable 3rd‑party providers.
  • Execute recovery protocols when restaurant supply is at risk.
  • Support seamless integration of new products into supply chain operations.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning transportation and logistics.
  • Maintain a positive environment between GTF’s, the vendor base, the mainline distribution partners and the approved 3rd‑party Logistics providers.
  • Ability to quickly identify opportunities for improvement and present recommendations and implement solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
  • This position may from time to time need to be on site at distribution centers and must be able to represent GTFs in a positive manner.
