Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or equivalent experience.
• Five or more years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience.
• Experience coordinating multiple warehouse locations and third-party logistics providers.
• Strong knowledge of freight transportation and carrier management.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight across company facilities and 3PLs.
• Schedule and monitor TL, LTL, parcel, and intermodal shipments.
• Develop relationships with transportation providers.
• Negotiate freight rates and service agreements.
• Monitor freight expenses and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
• Resolve transportation delays and shipment issues.
• Prepare quarterly business reviews and performance scorecards.
• Coordinate inventory movement between warehouses and 3PL facilities.
• Support inventory balancing initiatives.
• Coordinate customer drop-ship orders.
• Ensure timely communication between vendors, warehouses, and customers.
• Track freight costs and OTIF performance.
• Identify opportunities to reduce freight costs.
• Improve transportation efficiency.
• Participate in ERP and logistics system enhancements.
• Utilize Aptean Food & Beverage ERP to monitor logistics performance.
• Develop weekly logistics KPI reports.
• Monitor inventory transfers and transportation metrics.
