Korn Ferry partners with our client to fill the Logistics Manager role at a leading automotive components manufacturer in Central Alabama. The position oversees logistics, warehousing, inventory control, material flow, shipping, receiving, and transportation to ensure on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Ideal candidates bring strong SAP/WMS expertise, leadership in a high-volume manufacturing setting, and a track record of continuous improvement through Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
Qualifications
- Leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong SAP and Warehouse Management System (WMS) expertise.
- Experience in inventory control, warehousing, transportation, and material flow management.
- Proven success improving delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
- Experience building high-performing teams and driving operational accountability.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- The Logistics Manager will lead all aspects of logistics operations, including warehousing, inventory control, material flow, shipping, receiving, transportation, and customer delivery performance.
- Drives inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the facility.
