Description
We are seeking an experiencedLogistics Managerto lead and manage all integrated logistics support activities for Tower Simulation System program. The Logistics Manager will serve as the primary resource responsible for establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the full integrated logistics support framework across all program elements, ensuring the system meets all reliability, availability, and performance requirements throughout the period of performance. This position will work directly with the Program Manager, and Deputy Program Manager to ensure seamless logistics support across the program.
Key Responsibilities
Integrated Logistics Support Planning & Management
Hardware Maintenance & Depot Support
- Establish and manage a comprehensivehardware maintenance and depot supportprogram ensuring timely repair, replacement, and sustainment of program components
- Maintain a documentedspares strategysupporting operational availability requirements including:
- Procurement, storage, tracking, and replenishment of spare parts
- Consumables management and replenishment
- Obsolescence management and component lifecycle planning
- Coordinate with FSR teams to ensure timely delivery of spare parts and replacement components to field sites
Inventory Control & Supply Chain Management
- Develop and maintain a complete inventory of all computing hardware, firmware, software, and digital components including:
- Manufacturer and model or version
- Country of origin and supply source
- Export classification
- Configuration status and version history
- Ensure no component is added, replaced, or updated without corresponding update to the inventory
- Ensure all hardware, firmware, software, and digital components are sourced in compliance with applicable U.S. trade restrictions
- Support preparation and delivery of logistics inputs to allProgram Management Reviews Site Installation Logistics Support
- Coordinate all logistics activities supporting site installations across allsites
- Manage equipment procurement, staging, shipping, and delivery to all installation sites
- Coordinate with FSR teams on equipment delivery schedules, site readiness, and installation logistics
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degreeor equivalent experience in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required
- Minimum4-6 yearsof progressive logistics management role on programs of similar scope and complexity
- Demonstrated experience establishing and managingIntegrated Logistics Support (ILS)programs on federal programs
- Experience managinghardware maintenance and depot supportprograms including spare parts management and obsolescence planning
- Experience managinginventory control systemsfor complex hardware/software programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Logistics Manager on anFAA or DoD simulation/training systemprogram
- Experience managing logistics for programs withnationwide multi-site deployments
