The role focuses on improving order cycles, transport costs, and delivery performance in a climate-controlled office environment with potential travel. The candidate should bring 15 years of logistics experience, including 5 years in supervisory roles, strong analytical and program management skills, and proficiency in MS Office and ERP

Qualifications

  • Degree in supply chain and logistics.
  • 15 years’ experience in logistics operations, with at least 5 years in supervision.
  • Familiar with logistics processes and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the logistics team to meet company targets.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to set up logistics infrastructure in new markets.
  • Design SOPs for new projects and ensure SOP compliance.
  • Manage the complete order cycle to drive business development and sustainability.
  • Set up and refine daily logistics operations and procedures.
  • Monitor quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, and transport costs.
  • Establish JAS’s e-Commerce center and expand logistics business development globally.

JAS is an international, non-asset-based supply chain services and solutions company. Our services include air and ocean freight forwarding, contract logistics, customs brokerage, distribution, inbound logistics, truckload brokerage and other supply chain management services, including consulting, the coordination of purchase orders and customized management services.The Logistics Manager – is responsible for develop strategies and implement changes to improve company logistics team and seek for development.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:To lead and manage the logistics team to achieve company targetsLiaise with the relevant parties for the setting up of logistics infrastructure in any new global marketsDevelop and manage the logistics infrastructure, procedures, systems in any new global marketsDesign SOP for new project and ensure SOP complianceManage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainabilitySet up and refine daily logistics operations and proceduresKeep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiencySet up JAS’s e-Commerce center and to extend the logistics business development to SPRCSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:Project Implementation ManagerConduct performance evaluation for direct reportsRecommend hiring, firing and promotionIdentify and resolve personnel issuesOngoing coaching and mentoring of staff to develop skills to the highest levelQUALIFICATIONS:Good analytical and program management skills; ability to define, develop and document business processes and proceduresStrong customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal skillsInternal/external sales skillsExcellent organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal skills, including presentation skillsStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office suiteDetail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlinesSelf-motivated, able to work in a team and independentlyEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Degree in supply chain and logistics15 years’ experience in logistics operation, at least 5 years at supervisory levelFamiliar with logistics processThe salary range for this position is $90,000-$105,000. The salary will be determined based on skills and experience.ENVIRONMENT:100% performed in climate-controlled internal office environment working under normal office conditions. National and International travel will be (up to ___%) required in support of the position’s responsibilities.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and finger to feel and handle; reach with arms and hands; talk and hear.
