The F-35 Lightning-II Joint Program Office (JPO) is seeking an energetic, talented logistician to serve as a Depot Activation & Planning Supervisor. The Depot Activation & Planning Supervisor position reports to the Depot Activation & Planning Branch Chief, Lightning Depot Division (LDD) within the JPO FR&S. Incumbent leads a team of program managers and logistics management specialists that develop enterprise F-35 repair and modernization capability by managing timely and effective CONUS and OCONUS depot site activations. The incumbent will establish a relationship with the services, partner nations, FMS country teams, and industry partners specifically communicating and coordinating broad interests pertaining to national and industrial depot requirements. The incumbent will apply an understanding of participant country basing and integration requirements and concept of operations to optimize F-35 depot compatibility and logistics supportability across the depot spectrum. The incumbent is responsible for understanding and integrating the sustainment requirements and logistics solutions of the air system contractors (ASC) and propulsion system contractors (PSC), and US and partner nation services. The incumbent will assist the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) in strengthening the understanding of individual Participant sustainment requirements, environment, and concept of operations thus optimizing development and accommodation of the Common Global Asset Management (GAM) solution. The F-35 JPO leads fielding and sustainment of 5th-generation fighter aircraft to the USAF, USN, USMC, 7 integrated international program partners, and 12 Foreign Military Sales customers. The F-35’s global maintenance and repair capability is an essential enabler in sustaining the system readiness on which the US, our program Partners, and our FMS customer nations depend.
