Job summary

The Kroger Co. in Blue Ash, OH is seeking a hands-on teammate to assist mechanics with daily repair work and preventive maintenance. You will review repair logs, prepare jobs, conduct parts runs, and support safety and efficiency across the maintenance team.

Ideal candidates show a willingness to learn, strong time management, and the ability to work varied shifts. This on-site role supports our Supply Chain & Distribution operations and offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Job description

Responsible for assisting mechanics in daily repair work. Perform all tasks in a safe manner consistent with corporate policies and state and federal laws. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Qualifications

Minimum

• Ability to read/interpret documents
• Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license
• Willingness to continue education as necessary
• Strong time management skills
• Ability/willingness to learn to operate the following special equipment, machinery, and/or special tools: hand truck, hand and power pallet jack, power lift equipment (company will train)
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one or small group situations to customers, clients, and / or associates in the organization
• Ability to prioritize/multi-task while providing accurate/on-time results
• Ability to work a variety of shifts which may include weekends and overtime
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
• Ability to write routine reports/correspondence

Desired
