Job summary

Kroger Supply Chain is seeking team members to load outbound product onto trailers, ensuring accuracy and quality while following safety policies. The role supports our network of grocery distribution across the U.S. with a focus on efficiency and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

We welcome part-time or full-time applicants who can work weekends and overtime as needed, and who are committed to safety and reliable performance in a distribution center setting.

Qualifications

• Reading and comprehension of simple instructions, short memos, and basic correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
• Capacity to follow detailed written or oral instructions.
• Willingness to move with purpose and a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Load shipments onto trucks.
• Fill out associated paperwork for outbound product.

Requirements:

• High school education or general education degree (GED) plus six months distribution center experience and six months order filler experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least age 18
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability and willingness to move with purpose and a strong sense of urgency.
• Ability to work weekends on a frequent basis.
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis.
• Familiarity with distribution center terms and processes.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet production standards
