You will manage unloading, verification against PO/bills, and coordinate storage, schedules, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in logistics, a CDL and valid driver\'s license, and a strong commitment to accuracy and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years in logistics operations.
• CDL and valid driver\'s license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee unloading and handling of shipments, ensuring safety and minimizing damage.
• Verify goods against purchase orders, invoices, or bills of lading, checking quantities, descriptions, and condition.
• Coordinate storage and organize inventory for easy retrieval, often using space optimization strategies.
• Manage receiving schedules to align with delivery times and warehouse capacity.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct inspections or training for staff.
• Liaise with suppliers and shipping companies to resolve issues with delayed, damaged, or incorrect shipments.
• Conduct inventory audits to maintain accurate stock records.
• Maintain documentation such as goods received notes, discrepancy reports, and corrective actions.
• Train and lead teams, delegating tasks and mentoring associates.
• Implement process improvements and standard operating procedures for receiving operations.
