Job summary

Precision Neuroscience in Addison, Texas is seeking a Logistics Inventory Coordinator to own the flow of materials from clean room consumables to general office supplies. You will maintain accurate NetSuite records, perform cycle counts, and coordinate with engineering, clinical, and finance teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in inventory control, logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain coordination.

• Working knowledge of inventory management systems (NetSuite experience a plus) and basic proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort with repetitive, procedural tasks where accuracy matters.
• Ability to lift and move boxes/supplies (up to ~40 lbs) and to work comfortably in a clean room environment following gowning and hygiene protocols.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across engineering, clinical, and finance teams.
• A self-starter mentality; this role often works independently and must be proactive about identifying needs before they become problems.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer-service instincts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain adequate stock levels of clean room consumables and track usage.
• Store, rotate, and handle supplies per clean room protocols.
• Coordinate with teams to understand upcoming consumption needs and prevent stockouts.
• Track expiration dates and lot numbers for consumables.
• Manage day-to-day shipping and receiving, logs, and verify contents against POs/packing slips.
• Prepare outbound shipments (domestic and international) with proper documentation.
• Maintain shipping/receiving logs and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
• Support carrier coordination and escalate delays affecting operations.
• Perform cycle counts and reconcile with system records across inventory locations.
• Investigate variances and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain NetSuite inventory records, bin/location tracking, and U/M consistency.
• Generate regular inventory status reports for stakeholders.
• Coordinate supplier performance reviews and maintain vendor records.
• Assist with vendor onboarding and invoice/PO discrepancies.
• Offer alternate suppliers or process improvements when issues arise.
• Welcome visitors and manage front-of-house duties.
• Order and maintain office supplies within budget.
• Coordinate facilities needs and events.

We are seeking a Logistics Inventory Coordinator to support the daily operational needs of our clinical, engineering, and manufacturing teams. This role owns the physical flow of materials into and around the company — from clean room consumables and lab supplies to general office shipping and receiving — and keeps our inventory records accurate through disciplined cycle counting and supplier follow-through. The role also serves as a key point of contact for the office, welcoming visitors and handling the day-to-day tasks that keep the workplace running smoothly behind the scenes.

This position will be based in our Addison, Texas office. We are unable to consider remote workers or individuals who are not currently based in the US and not legally authorized to work in the US.

Key Responsibilities

Clean Room & Lab Supply Management

• Maintain adequate stock levels of clean room consumables (gowning supplies, gloves, wipes, and other controlled-environment materials), monitoring usage trends and reordering proactively.
• Ensure supplies are stored, rotated, and handled in accordance with clean room protocols and manufacturer specifications.
• Coordinate with teams to understand upcoming consumption needs and prevent stockouts.
• Track expiration dates and lot numbers for consumables subject to shelf-life requirements.

Shipping & Receiving

• Manage day-to-day office and lab shipping and receiving, including logging inbound packages, verifying contents against purchase orders/packing slips, and routing materials to the correct internal team.
• Prepare outbound shipments (domestic and international as needed), select appropriate carriers, and ensure proper documentation and packaging for sensitive or regulated materials.
• Maintain shipping/receiving logs and resolve discrepancies (damaged goods, short shipments, mis-shipments) with vendors and carriers.
• Support carrier and freight vendor coordination, including tracking shipments and escalating delays that could affect operations.

Inventory Control & Cycle Counts

• Perform scheduled and ad hoc cycle counts across inventory locations, reconciling physical counts against system records.
• Investigate and document variances, identifying root causes (data entry errors, mislabeling, shrinkage) and implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within NetSuite, including item setup, bin/location tracking, and unit-of-measure consistency.
• Generate regular inventory status reports for operational and finance stakeholders, flagging low-stock or slow-moving items.

Supplier & Vendor Coordination

• Conduct periodic supplier performance reviews covering on-time delivery, order accuracy, quality issues, and pricing trends.
• Maintain up-to-date vendor records, reorder points, and lead times to support purchasing decisions.
• Assist with vendor onboarding, credit applications, and resolution of invoice or PO discrepancies in partnership with Accounting.
• Recommend alternate suppliers or process improvements when performance or cost issues arise.

Office Management & Front-of-House

• Welcome visitors, candidates, and guests, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression of the company.
• Keep common areas, kitchen, and refrigerator stocked, organized, and clean, restocking snacks, beverages, and supplies as needed.
• Order and maintain office supplies (stationery, printer/copier supplies, pantry items, etc.), tracking usage and staying within budget.
• Serve as a point of contact for facilities-related needs (repairs, cleaning vendors, badge/access requests) and coordinate with building management or outside vendors as needed.
• Help set up and break down for internal meetings, all-hands, and company events as needed.
• Handle miscellaneous day-to-day office tasks and ad hoc requests from teams to keep the workplace running smoothly.
