Milliken & Company in Spartanburg, SC, invites you to join its Logistics team as a Logistics Intern for 11–12 weeks during Summer 2027. You will support transportation, distribution, inventory movement, data analysis, reporting, and process improvement while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive real business impact.

Qualifications

• Candidates pursuing a BS in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Analytics or related field.
• Strong user of Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
• Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day activities and key projects within Logistics.
• Conduct research, analysis, or data review related to transportation, distribution, inventory movement, service levels, costs, or performance.
• Assist in developing reports, presentations, dashboards, process documentation, or standard work.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency gains, cost reduction, or visibility across logistics operations.
• Track and analyze key logistics metrics such as on-time delivery and freight spend.
• Present project findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
