Koch Ag & Energy Solutions (KAES) is seeking a Summer 2027 Logistics Intern to explore passions and gain real experience delivering value for customers. You will coordinate movement across rail, truck, and terminals, collaborate with logistics and commercial teams, and analyze data to identify opportunities for improved performance.

The role emphasizes analytics, process improvements, and AI-powered insights to optimize transportation, inventory, and service levels.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., 4 year college, 2 year technical program, certificate, upskilling).
• Legal authorization to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.
• Eligible for full-time employment before or by May 2029.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate rail, truck, terminal, and product movement to ensure safe, reliable, on-time delivery.
• Partner with logistics, commercial, operations, carriers, and customer-facing teams to support execution and value creation.
• Analyze transportation data, inventory positions, and logistics trends to identify opportunities for improved performance.
• Support projects to improve transportation efficiency, asset utilization, and cost effectiveness.
• Assist with contract entry, supply and demand analysis, and process improvements that strengthen customer service.
• Use analytics tools and technology, including AI, to drive process improvements and actionable insights.
• Coordinate shipments to balance changing business needs and optimize asset utilization.
• Collaborate with planners, terminals, carriers, and customers to optimize transportation and inventory across the supply chain.
