The dispatcher will oversee drivers, stock crews, and training programs, and will ensure accurate information flow for deliveries and returns. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to quickly and accurately perform basic math.
• Ability to read a road/geographical map and communicate directions.
• Organizational skills demonstrated in job performance.
• Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be proactive.
• Professional communication, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate delivery, warehouse and facilities operations.
• Process sales orders quickly and accurately; set up job information and reports.
• Supervise stocking crews, conduct performance reviews and driver training; coordinate dispatch.
• Schedule dispatch and maximize crew time, monitor labor costs on each job.
• Compute payroll accurately and on time; train stockers and complete training paperwork.
• Maintain front counter, office/dispatch, restroom and yard/warehouse cleanliness.
• Ensure trucks are clean and operate safely.
