Job summary

Akima is seeking a Logistics Analyst to support an Army equipment turn-in site by analyzing and improving supply chain, property accountability, and transportation processes. You will generate data-driven recommendations to boost efficiency, reduce risk, and ensure government property accountability.

Responsibilities include data analysis, reporting, process improvement, and audits with ISO 9001:2015 alignment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
Equivalent military logistics experience accepted.
3–5 years in logistics, supply chain, or Army property accountability operations.
Army logistics systems: GCSS-Army, LMP, DPAS, TC-AIMS; ISO 9001:2015 quality management principles.

Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and interpret logistics and supply chain data related to equipment receipt, inspection, inventory, and turn-in.
Track KPIs such as processing times, inventory accuracy, loss/damage rates, and compliance metrics.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for Site Manager, COR, and QA staff.
Support audits, inspections, and government reporting requirements with accurate data.
Identify trends, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies in supply, accountability, and transportation workflows.
