Job summary

Universal Music Group is seeking a Logistics Data Analyst to support e-commerce and retail operations through analytics for distribution and transportation. You will analyze warehouse and carrier performance, prepare reports, and drive supply chain improvements.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, collaboration with the Transportation Team, and hands-on creation of reports and analyses to optimize costs and performance.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in an analytical role focusing on data cleansing, analysis and delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and publish daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
• Analyze data to identify supply chain improvements in cost and performance.
• Prepare carrier rate tables and ensure accuracy on artist stores and internal tools.
• Prepare presentations to recommend new carriers and services, support RFPs, and propose carrier utilization strategies.
• Support Transportation Team with carrier on-time performance reporting, freight spend reporting, lane rate analysis, and tracking shipments during peak periods.
