Job summary

Syfan Logistics in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for weekend Day shifts (Friday–Sunday, 7AM–7PM). You will support the logistics operations by communicating with carriers and customers to ensure on-time shipments and high service levels.

You will use the company's TMS and Microsoft Office to track loads, update statuses, and resolve issues, while maintaining strong relationships with customers and carriers.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches carriers by phone and computer in an efficient and professional manner.
• Manages load information including pick-up and delivery times for all shipments using logistics management software.
• Tracks and communicates the movements of drivers to shippers and receivers in accordance with established procedures and load specific information.
• Directs and resolves inbound calls from drivers and carriers to obtain accurate status and location updates.
• Updates Carrier Sales and Customer Reps of delays or issues when required.
• Documents communications with carriers and customers in the TMS.
• Identifies load issues and works with the team to implement timely solutions.
• Performs other essential duties as assigned to support operations.
