Responsibilities

• Process and prepare orders for delivery in SAP to Domestic and International destinations.
• Review and pack orders for shipment.
• Process orders for shipment in standard courier system software (FedEx, UPS).
• Select carriers/forwarders for shipment and prepare documents for freight forwarders.
• Interface with internal and external customers, foreign order administration, freight forwarders and other functions to coordinate logistics.
• Provide remote support for other business sites as needed.
• Maintain inventory accuracy in database and perform routine audits.
• Participate in internal and external audits as necessary.

We are looking for a full-time Logisitcs Coordinator to join our team at are Santa Barbara, CA facility.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in inventory software, databases and systems (SAP).
• Analyze, process and prepare orders for delivery in SAP to both Domestic and International destinations.
• Ability to review, and pack orders for shipment.
• Ability to process orders for shipment in standard courier system software i.e. Fedex, UPS
• Selects carrier/forwarder where needed for shipment of products and prepares documents for freight forwarders.
• Interfaces with internal and external customers, foreign order administration, freight forwarders and other functional areas to ensure coordination and logistics of shipment.
• Provides remote support for other business sites as needed
• Working Knowledge and ability to use Windows operating system and Microsoft based programs, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Excellent organizational, communication, problem solving, and time management skills.
• Excellent clerical, data entry skills to maintain integrity of inventory accuracy in database, file records and perform routine audits.
• Ability to participate in internal and external audits as necessary.
• Essential cross functional teamwork skill, to be able to communicate regularly with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Engineering, and Finance.
• Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental standards.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work standing, sitting and walking for the majority of a scheduled shift.
• Must be able to pushcart holding up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• May be asked to lift up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
• Job requires frequent reaching, bending, stooping and kneeling.
• Job requires frequent handwriting onto inventory cards.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Experience with SAP Sales and Distribution and Material Movement modules is preferred.
• Knowledge of Export compliance regulations preferred.
• Experience with and understanding of warehouse operations, and is capable of applying knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring analysis and judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations.
• Ability to follow daily standard work instructions, with minimal supervision, and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $21.50/hr and $38.00/hr and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
