Job summary

Allen Lund Company is hiring a Logistics Coordinator in Irvine to drive daily freight brokerage operations. You will manage loads, schedule pickups and deliveries, and work with our brokers to keep supply chains efficient in a fast-paced, tech-forward environment.

You will leverage our proprietary TMS after training, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, communication, and customer service. A growth-minded culture and opportunities across 42 offices await.

Qualifications

• Experience with freight logistics and loads management.

Responsibilities

• Build loads, schedule pickup and delivery appointments, and set up vetted carriers.
• Track shipments and provide real-time updates to shippers and customers.
• Source carriers and maintain lane relationships.
• Ensure compliance and accurate documentation (insurance certificates, rate confirmations).
• Support branch accounting with invoicing and digital tools to keep workflows smooth.
• Deliver high-quality, customer-focused service in a fast-paced environment.

As a Logistics Coordinator, you are the engine driving our daily freight brokerage operations. Working alongside our Transportation Brokers, you will manage active loads, leverage high-speed tech tools, and ensure our supply chains run without a hitch. How You’ll Make an Impact

• Master the Logistics Lifecycle: Efficiently build loads, schedule pickup/delivery appointments, and set up vetted carriers within our digital platforms.
• Keep Freight Moving: Proactively conduct update/check calls with carriers, track active shipments, and deliver real‑time, critical updates to shippers and customers.
• Carrier Sourcing & Outreach: Build strong relationships with carriers by inquiring about lane availability, equipment types, and capacity.
• Maintain Compliance & Documentation: Ensure seamless record-keeping with exceptional attention to detail by requesting and verifying insurance certificates, handling rate confirmations, and keeping carrier resources updated.
• Streamline Operations & Finance: Support branch accounting by matching invoices, issuing Com-checks or Quick Pays, and leveraging digital tools to keep daily office workflows running smoothly.
• Deliver 5‑Star Service: Uphold our company principles (Customer, Company, Office) by delivering high-touch customer support at every turn.

What You Bring to the Team
