Amentum in Springfield, VA is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee shipments across multiple sites and coordinate with teams domestically and overseas. You will provide logistics information and status updates, delivering excellent customer service while briefing stakeholders on order progress.

The role requires 3+ years in logistics or administrative support, strong communication, and an active Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Deployment/Logistics Coordinator or Administrative Assistant experience.
• Working knowledge of governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or other established guidelines.
• Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines.

• Perform duties in order to expedite the flow of material and parts.
• Ensures supplies and inventory are ordered, received, replenished, and kept at appropriate levels. Participates in new and standard part number creation.

• Participates in the disposition of non-conforming material.
• Arranges for reservation and transfer of materials to meet production schedules.

Amentum is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Springfield, VA.

You have excellent communication, time management, and detail-oriented skills, which you’ll put to use overseeing and managing multiple projects for nearly 250 sites worldwide. You will connect with our customers and team members domestically and overseas via email or Microsoft Teams to provide logistics information, share shipping and project status updates. Your excellent customer service and communication skills will come in handy when briefing the customer and stakeholders on the status of their orders and projects you manage. Additionally, your attention to detail and time management will be vital for ensuring project timelines are met and on track.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• At least 3 years of experience as a Deployment/Logistics Coordinator or an Administrative Assistant
