Jabil, a global manufacturing and engineering solutions leader, is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in the United States to support inbound and outbound shipments, carrier coordination, and freight management to keep materials flowing to production and customers on time.
You will act as a system expert for logistics tools, assist with imports/exports, and drive continuous improvement through documentation, training, and process optimization.

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting logistics operations through process development, system support, carrier coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role serves as a key resource for logistics systems, import/export activities, freight management, and transportation processes to ensure efficient material flow and on‑time delivery in support of manufacturing operations.
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support production and customer requirements.
Maintain regular communication with domestic and international carriers, freight providers, and customs brokers to ensure service expectations are met.
Support import and export activities, including carrier coordination and issue resolution.
Assist customs brokers with shipment clearance issues and related documentation requirements.
Review commercial invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Approve inbound and outbound freight invoices and perform monthly freight cost allocations.
Provide support for delayed or at‑risk shipments and drive timely resolution of transportation issues.
Evaluate and approve transportation service levels based on business requirements and lead times.
Serve as the functional expert for logistics-related systems and tools.
Support end users with routine and advanced system-related questions and troubleshooting.
Coordinate training for new hires, system enhancements, and process updates.
Track and communicate system upgrades, enhancements, and functionality changes.
Evaluate current processes and systems to identify improvement opportunities.
Support the rollout, testing, validation, and implementation of new tools and system enhancements.
Develop and maintain process documentation, policies, and work instructions.
Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, systems, and operational efficiency.
Gather and document business requirements for system enhancements.
Provide functional specifications and support implementation efforts.
Monitor logistics processes to ensure alignment with business objectives and operational needs.
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field is required.
3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or a related operational environment.
Experience coordinating inbound and outbound freight movements.
Experience working with domestic and international import/export carriers.
Experience supporting customs clearance activities and transportation providers.
Experience with logistics systems, freight management, or transportation management tools preferred.
Knowledge of logistics operations, transportation processes, and supply chain principles.
Understanding of import/export regulations, shipping documentation, and customs processes.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to troubleshoot logistics and transportation issues in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively work with carriers, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and business systems.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Experience supporting manufacturing or high-volume production environments.
Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP.
Professional certifications in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
Experience with freight auditing, carrier management, and transportation cost analysis.
