Job summary

CJ Logistics is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk in McDonough, GA. You will be the first point of contact for drivers, sign in/out, verify paperwork, and assign dock doors to inbound and outbound loads.

You will also manage trailer inventory, coordinate yard moves with spotters, process Bills of Lading, reconcile shipments, and maintain schedules to keep operations running smoothly. Strong MS Office skills and familiarity with warehouse systems are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, proficient in MS Office.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems such as Blue Yonder/Korber/AS400 is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player who supports shift goals and collaborates with others.
• Reliable and dependable in daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and sign in/out drivers, verify paperwork and assign dock doors.
• Keep trailer inventory accurate with real-time updates on doors and yard reports.
• Coordinate yard moves with spotters to ensure smooth activity.
• Process Bills of Lading and reconcile shipments with packing slips.
• Maintain inbound/outbound schedules and door reports for seamless operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Match inbound shipments with packing slips and manage drop lot activity.
• Stay organized with schedules and trailer inventories.
• Report discrepancies to leadership to keep operations running smoothly.
• Work with shift management to hit daily goals.
• Participate in training programs to stay sharp.
• Perform all tasks safely and on time.
• Take on additional duties as needed.
