Job summary

Insight is seeking a Logistics Associate II to operate a forklift, receive, locate, and move products in our Hanover Park, IL warehouse, and ensure accuracy of customer orders. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and willingness to exceed standards.

Responsibilities include counting inbound deliveries, maintaining forklifts, picking orders for shipment, and loading trucks. Candidates should have 6 months of warehouse experience and at least 1 year with Crown stand-up and cherry picker.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months of warehouse experience and 1 year of experience with Crown stand-up and cherry picker.
• Ability to lift 50lbs consistently.
• Knowledge of receiving, warehouse, and safety procedures and some computer experience.

• Off-load daily shipments and stage them properly on receiving floor.
• Accurately count and document inbound deliveries and perform proper maintenance on all forklifts.
• Pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring correct quantity and type of product is picked, packed, and shipped.
• Weigh orders, inspect, and load trucks and assemble various types of merchandise for shipment.

Position

Logistics Associate II W2

Now is the time to bring your expertise to a W2 role for a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator where success and fulfillment go hand in hand. You will be at the forefront of helping businesses transform their cloud, data, AI, cybersecurity, and analytics to ensure they are future-ready.

As a Logistics Associate II W2 with Insight, you will operate a forklift to receive, locate, and move products throughout the warehouse, fill customer orders with accuracy, and transport them to the truck line shipping area. We will count on you to also perform quality control checks to ensure the complete order is accurate. Along the way, you will be accountable, safety-conscious, productive, and motivated to exceed company standards.
