Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs daily inspections of electric-powered forklift with proper documentation; proficient with attachments (slip-sheet, double-forks, clamp truck).
• Support production with stage-to-stock and stock-to-stage for packaging materials (caps, triggers, preforms, neck hangers, labels, chemicals).
• Report and correct unsafe conditions via Hazardous Notification and BBS; write-up repair work orders.
• Perform safety checks on trailer loading and dock locking systems.
• Maintain forklift security procedures and department tools.
• Plan and prioritize work assignments with minimal supervision.
• Document unloading/loading procedures with accuracy.
• Support Changeover, Startup/Shutdown processes to standards.
• Adhere to OSHA & DOT standards and SDS handling procedures.
• Understand loading practices and weight distribution for carrier equipment.
• Understand warehouse layout and capacity constraints.

This role also involves planning and prioritizing work assignments, supporting changeover and startup/shutdown processes, and handling raw materials according to SDS procedures. Additionally, the job requires understanding complex loading practices, warehouse layout, and capacity constraints Starting Hourly rate compensation: $24.63.
