Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Logistics Analyst in Sterling, VA to help keep operations on track and support the end-to-end order lifecycle. You will contribute to supply chain excellence by joining Order Planning and Order Fulfillment teams, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree, 2+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Operations preferred.
• Two (2) years’ experience in customer order management and/or customer service.
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Experience coordinating customer accounts and sales orders.
• Experience utilizing ERP and WMS applications preferred.
• Detail-oriented, self-starter with initiative and minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Process customer and internal orders with accuracy and on time.
• Prepare and maintain procurement documentation, including purchase requisitions.
• Evaluate orders for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with program/contract requirements.
• Perform fulfillment system processing: allocation, release, tracking updates, issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Order Planning, Order Fulfillment, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to resolve discrepancies and support timely delivery.
• Communicate status updates clearly to internal stakeholders for alignment.
• Maintain data accuracy and support continuous improvement.

LOGISTICS ANALYST

As a Logistics Analyst, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our Government customer. You will play a crucial role in supporting the Supply Chain’s Order Planning and Order Fulfillment teams by ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness across the end‑to‑end order lifecycle. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional supply chain groups.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Bachelor’s Degree required with a concentration in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Operations preferred. Military experience will be considered.
• Two (2) years’ experience in customer order management and/or customer service
• Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
• Previous experience in coordinating customer accounts and sales orders
• Previous experience utilizing ERP and WMS applications preferred
• Candidate must be detail-oriented, a self-starter, and someone who takes initiative with minimal supervision.

The likely salary range for this position is $63,750 - $86,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
