Raytheon’s Surface Radars and Sensors Center in Portsmouth, RI is hiring a Sr. Logistics Analyst to support the Ship Systems Integration and Sustainment (SSIS) team as part of the Integrated Logistics Services (ILS) Products group.

Responsibilities

• Support logistic engineering and collaborate with peers and internal customers.
• Review engineering drawings and technical data for maintenance evaluation and data collection.
• Research logistics data and format it for ILS products per contract specs.
• Create logistics products from source documents (GEIA-STD-0007, S1000D, military specs).
• Work in EAGLE database to manage data changes and upgrades.
• Input maintenance/parts data into Excel models and logistics databases.
• Develop and review maintenance procedures for network equipment and hardware.
• Travel domestically up to 10%.
• Meet physical requirements to validate on a US Navy ship.

Raytheon’s Surface Radars and Sensors (SR&S) Center is hiring a Sr. Logistics Analyst to support the Ship Systems Integration and Sustainment (SSIS) team as a member of the Integrated Logistics Services (ILS) Products team. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individual with well-developed communication skills and attention to detail to start a career in the aerospace-defense industry. In this position you will be part of an established, multi-discipline team supporting various Naval Power programs by developing integrated logistics services products including configuration data management/logistics configuration records, supply support data (including Allowance Parts Lists), provide support to training development, support interactive electronic technical manuals (IETMs) development for maintenance and troubleshooting procedures, and support Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM). The selected individual will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members, receive coaching and early career support and work with talented professionals in support of shared objectives to support Naval Power programs.

What You Will Do

• Support a wide array of duties supporting logistic engineering and collaborating with peers and internal customers.
• Review engineering drawings and technical data for maintenance evaluation and collection of logistics data.
• Research equipment/part logistics data, technical/engineering data, perform analysis on the data and work with peers and team leads to format data into appropriate formats for ILS products in accordance with the contract specifications.
• Create accurate logistics products based on source documents that include specifications such as GEIA-STD-0007, S1000D, Military specifications, vendor data and engineering data.
• Work extensively in the Enhanced Automated Graphical Logistics Environment (EAGLE) logistics product database to manage, develop and edit data based on engineering changes, new systems or upgrades to existing equipment.
• Input/research maintenance/parts data into an Excel Model and/or Logistics databases. Interface with team leads, other team members, team leadership and stakeholders from various disciplines such as engineering, waterfront teams and other internal customers.
• Develop and review maintenance procedures for network equipment and hardware to be included in Maintenance Manuals and Operator Manuals.
• Travel requirements – Ability to support domestic travel 10%.
• Ability to meet physical requirements to perform validation events in a shipyard environment on a US Navy ship.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.
• Experience creating/editing written technical documentation in a military and/or civilian environment.
• Experience with Technical Data Packages such as drawings, parts lists and/or electrical schematics.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with DoD Integrated Logistics Services (ILS) product development, including logistics records, supply support, training and IETM data, RCM data.
• Previous experience with networking maintenance and documentation of procedures for networking, including documenting software for operator-level maintenance procedures.
• Experience developing documents using SGML, XML, HTML or other mark-up languages.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
